We're very aware that there hasn't been activity here - that's not reflective of what has been happening behind the scenes.

We've been trying hard to find a venue to hear our concerns but it appears Cornwall Council Planning are their own referees and they don't consider they've done anything wrong despite-

• ignoring their own guidance on the status and weight of neighbourhood plans (they didn't even ask Hayle Neighbourhood Plan its current status and overrode their own Local Plan)
• giving undue weight to Hayle Chamber of Commerce with a whole four members two of which are not even based in Hayle by supporting their views over the democratic vote of Hayle Town Council which represents the best interests of the whole of Hayle and a great deal more than two businesses.
• ignoring national guidance on not developing Wildlife sites ignoring their own commissioned figures on maximum comparison shopping Hayle can take without causing material damage and permitting 20x more development
• ignoring national guidance by approving a car led out of town shopping development

We've been told that about £100k for a judicial review is our only option.  We continue trying to seek a way forward.
