I am a small business owner in Hayle and wish to object to this application the retail offer here of DIY and bulky goods will be detrimental to my business and many others that I know both in Hayle & Camborne.

Out of town retailing is a nightmare for local businesses and with one new development approved - The Rugby Club this second development would create a huge retail park offering everything but food and all our businesses will suffer greatly.

I WOULD LIKE TO POINT OUT THAT HAYLE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE DO NOT REPRESENT MY BUSINESS AND A LOT OF OTHER BUSINESSES I KNOW IN FACT THEY ONLY HAVE 4 SIGNED UP MEMBERS - SEE THEIR WEBSITE! IT IS THEREFORE MISLEADING FOR THEM TO CLAIM THAT THEY ARE REPRESENTING ALL OF HAYLES BUSINESS INTERESTS. I KNOW AT LEAST TEN BUSINESSES WHO HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THEM!
